While remodeling the bathrooms and kitchen on this project the client realized the fireplace

needed to be addressed as well, which turned out to be a huge focal point.

BEFORE: Existing traditional mantel fireplace with bookshelves to the left.

AFTER: Bookshelves removed, light fixture added on top of fluted accent tile. Main wall 12x24 tile, new fireplace insert, and custom wood hearth.

AFTER: Custom floating wood hearth returns to the wall on the side.

AFTER: Coordinating colored schluter used on outside corner of tile.

AFTER: View of new fireplace from entry.

The kitchen was the clients least favorite room and the update made it the favorite place to be in the house.

BEFORE: Dated granite counterops, old white stovetop, and existing color of painted cabinets.

AFTER: Countertops, Pental quartz Ijen Azul, new stovetop, sinks and faucets. New fresh paint color on existing cabinets. Plus full wall of tile in place of dated small backsplash.

BEFORE: Old white appliances, paneled refrigerator, and outdated appliance garage under microwave.

AFTER: Island in accented paint color, Benjamin Moore Whale Gray. Reworked refridgerator wall to add more counter space and appliances changed out to new without paneling.

BEFORE: Most disliked part of the old kitchen, rope trim detail, plate rack over sink, and dated 4" granite backsplash.

AFTER: New custom wood floating shelves over sink, simplified farmhouse sink, black stainless faucet and cabinet hardware.

AFTER: Open area from removed appliance garage.

AFTER: Another shot of the Pental Quartz Ijen Azul counterop.

AFTER: Close up of different texture on picket shaped tile. Adding this under cabinet lighting with outlet strip allows for removal of all outlets on backsplash tile.

The master bath started the inspiration for this remodel.

A goal of the client was to bring the outdoors in using materials and fixtures that have an organic feel or vibe.

BEFORE: Old tile tub deck with sunk in jacuzzi tub.

BEFORE: This wall has storage cabinet not visible here, vanity and seldom used lower make-up vanity.

AFTER: New furniture styled cabinetry with natural wood finish, quartz countertops and backsplash, new central light fixture and sconce. Another way to bring in the outdoors was to add a window and bench where old make-up vanity was.
