West Seattle Remodel

This before shot shows the outdated oak cabinets, laminate countertops, and vinyl flooring of the masterbath.

This after picture shows the beautiful Black Mist Antique granite countertop and large format tile flooring. These cabinets were painted, not replaced, and handles were added for a completely different look. The original shutters were painted as well..    New light fixtures and continuous wall tile from the new shower were also added.

This before shot shows the original master tub and shower.

The tub was transformed into a shower using this fun patterned tile and the old shower  was removed. This black grid shower panel fit in perfectly with the design elements of the bath.

Because this tile is so fun we wanted to use it as an accent on the corner shelf, which can be used for shaving your legs or shampoo etc..

This after shot shows more of the patterned tile on the niche backwall, corner shelf and shower floor which really makes this bathroom exciting.

We used an Altstadt favorite for the sinks, Kohler Verticyl Oval. It's a classic look but also goes modern with the flat bottom and vertical sides.

This shot shows the sliding barn door from the inside of the bathroom, the barn door hardware is mounted on the outside. It also shows the alcove where the shower used to be which is now an area for a scale and chair.

Before picture shows the dated oak cabinets and formica counter top with oak trim as backsplash.

The update consisted of painting the cabinets, adding door and drawer hardware, new Quartz counter tops, full height tile backsplash, new range and hood and adding 2 pendants over the peninsula.

Great before picture of old range and microwave hood.

After picture showing the transformation and the Starburst pendants we found that gives the room some fun while not being too obtrusive.

Dark corner here in the old kitchen.

So much lighter and brighter and the handles really add to the details.
