Here's the before shot of the empty great room right after the clients purchased the home.

This after shot shows the great room now furnished with new furniture,  area rug, lamps and accessories, as well as new paint color.

Another before shot of the empty great room showing the fireplace.

Part of the design was to incorporate the client's antique pieces with the new furniture purchased for the room.

Before shot of guest bathroom.

After shot shows the new paint color and light fixtures. The home owner was able to get rid of the angled countertop and make it rectangular to allow for more counterspace and a more symmetrical look.

This shot showcases the unique wood elements of this house and angled roofline. Also notice the new decorative pendant light, framed mirror and sconces replacing the old style light bar.

This is a before shot of the kitchen, which is part of the original cabin.

We updated the kitchen with granite countertops, tile backsplash and large format floor tile but kept the original cabinetry.

This before shot shows the sink wall with the original laminate countertops and backsplash.

A really nice picture showing the new undermount sink, granite countertops, tile backsplash and granite windowsill.

This before shot shows the custom designed spiral staircase going to a loft above the kitchen, original to the cabin.

In this after shot you can see part of the spiral staircase. The client and Altstadt Interior's goal was to preserve the wood and cabin feel while updating the overall look with natural stone and materials.
