NE Seattle Kitchen Remodel

This before shot of the kitchen shows the multi colored cabinets and poor lighting.

We got rid of the peninsula and installed an island instead. It's provides more space and room to move around. The in counter compost was a must for the homeowner. Also adding crown molding to the main floor here added a lot of architectural detail to the spaces.

This shows the before dining area that was not very functional with the peninsula in between and no other storage space.

This shows the detail of the new buffet wall which added more storage and counter space and extends the kitchen to encompass the dining area instead of blocking it out. The window was raised up to accommodate the height of the counters.

Another before shot of the old kitchen.

So light and bright and so much more functional. We added about 10 recessed cans to the existing 3 and took away the dining fixture and old track light.

The old peninsula was shorter than the rest of the kitchen which was an issue with the homeowner. Another good shot of the old multi colored cabinetry.

Detail shot of the side of the island and barstools.

Before of the peninsula and dining.

Showing how much better the flow of the kitchen is and how the dining works with the kitchen now.

More of the old multi colored cabinets.

This area is across from the kitchen and also had multi colored cabinetry to match the old kitchen. We had it painted to match the Blue island and updated the hardware. Amazing facelift on this area.
