Newport Shores Update

This before shot shows how dark the original oak cabinets are in the already dark kitchen so we decided an update was in order to lighten and brighten.

We painted the cabinets to save down time for the client and the tile floors we had put in a few years ago instead of installing new cabinets. We also upgraded the counters to granite and designed a new backsplash.

A close up of the granite and backsplash which were selected based on the tile floor previously updated.

Another view of the kitchen showing the painted cabinets and added door and drawer hardware.

This Before and After was done back in 2008 and the result is still current years later and beyond. Simplifying the upholstery choice made all the difference and created a sense of calm and unity. We upholstered the furniture in new fabrics, added new lamps, art and window treatments.

Living Room "After"

Craftmaster chair ordered for this corner of the living room to add a splash of pattern.

"Before" picture of this brick fireplace. What a change to cover the brick and add limestone tile along with lowering the mantel shelf and adding mantel legs. This made the room feel lighter, larger and updated. The homeowner was more than thrilled with the result.

"After"

Updated entry to coordinate with the leaded glass windows and door and to give a more sophisticated look.
