Burien Kitchen Remodel
This small kitchen needed an update for many reasons, like new appliances, better workspace and overall design.
BEFORE: The original cabinets were 50's plywood, which needed replacing. We also removed the scalloped wood trim over the window.
AFTER: New kitchen cabinets allow for better organization and storage space. Installed new pendant light fixture over the sink, in place of the scalloped wood trim. Above also shows the Fisher & Paykel 2-drawer dishwasher.
AFTER: We used 20 x 20 porcelin floor tile, which made the smaller space feel larger overall. Using larger format tiles gives an optical illusion of a larger space. One friend friend actually thought a wall was moved but it wasn't.
AFTER: Wonderful Fisher & Paykel appliances along side an vintage butcher block found by Altstadt Interiors just in time for the remodel.
